We launched a helium filled weather balloon with cameras and instruments from Kings Beach Ca. It took some pretty nifty shots of Lake Tahoe from altitudes up to 103,000 feet. A group of elementary schoolers took part in designing the payload, parachute, and balloon. We used a MicroTrack AIO, and a SPOT Tracker to track the balloon's position. We used a GoPro for the video, an old canon for stills of the ground (not shown here.) The MicroTrack AIO came from Byonics. By the way, the guys at Byonics were great help and provide excellent customer service!!!
