I have 5 Angelfish in my 125 gallon planted aquarium of which four of the Angelfish have formed pairs. We are not trying to breed them so we do not remove the mated pairs to breeding tanks, or attempt to remove the eggs from this community tank.
These two frequently spawn, and most of the time the eggs hatch. However, most of the time they eat all the fry before they become free swimming. On rare occasions, like shown in this video, they do make it to the free swimming stage. This is the most that have made it before though, so perhaps this time one will survive.
The silver stripped is the female, and the black one with the deformed fin is the male.
