The Final showdown. Italy vs. USA. This was a battle of the best sprinters... and me LOL. I have to admit, this isn't my best distance, but it was my turn to make sure that Anthony got a gold medal. Everyone skated a great race, Anthony looked like he had it, but at the last moment I thought he lost it (he almost did). So, I stepped in to take the win over the Italian skater that was creeping up. The general rule for all US skaters is to skate for a team member but always be close enough to take the gold if it looks like the other skater might lose it. In the end it was all to close call and Anthony ended up in front of the Italian by 1 hundredth of a second. Also... I got my revenge on Claudio for beating me in the track 500M =] a very exciting race... Enjoy

Final Results:
1) Me: 43.96
2) Anthony Lobello, USA: 43.97
3) Claudio Lombardi, Italy: 43.98
