Dandi March to Dandi Seashore in Gujarat state, India was a historical movement led by Mahatma Gandhi against the Salt Act of the British Government. The supporters of the march walked around 241 miles from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi in connection with the Satyagraha or the passive resistance by breaking the prohibition on making salt.
This video shows the route map of Dandi March and it is seen in the museum near the Dandi seashore. You can see the inscriptions about the significance of the march along with the written comments of Gandhiji and many rare pictures inside the museum.
