President Uhuru Kenyatta has once again urged members of parliament to drop their demands for increased salaries and instead focus on improving the country's economy. Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has also urged the mps to move with the times and drop their demands for increased pay. Elsewhere a parliamentary committee set up to work on a petition that will lead to the sending home of commissioners of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission is set to begin work later in the week.
