Sneak peek of early development of Low Poly Peeps for drag n drop crowds with single right click activation. Not made for closeups but for scene filler, establishing and distance shots. The instant crowds are props and also under development are fully functional character versions that work with the Motion Puppet, MixMoves and iClone motions for more variety in the scene. All of the peep groups shown have been improved since the rendering of these clips.
Load in something like the Times Square prop... add three 50 person dispersion or milling crowds and 150 moving, pre-animated peeps instantly fill the scene with movement... all from three drag and drops. A master crowd behavior clip created with motion flow controls the speed of the clip.
Poly counts average 54K per 50 people in a crowd when testing with prototype crowds. Have had up to 300 Low Poly Peeps on a screen at once in the 64bit version of iClone. Peeps are grouped into pre-animated crowds such as sidewalk crowds, dispersion crowds, milling crowds and military formations.
