Ohlone and Native American community members sing the American Indian Movement (AIM) Song at the 10th annual Black Friday demonstration held on November 25, 2011 at the Bay Street Mall in Emeryville, Ca to protest desecration of the sacred Ohlone shellmounds and burial sites which were disturbed during the building of the mall. Thousands of Ohlone ancestors were removed during construction of the Bay Street Mall and the human remains were sent to be stored the university. Hundreds of ancestors still remain buried beneath businesses at the mall.
