This is a short video I filmed to test the Smith&Wesson M&P 15-22 for an Out Of Battery (OOB) firing condition. I De-Leaded and De-Powdered a Federal Bulk round and experimented with 1/4" Bolt to Chamber and 1.35mm Bolt to Chamber distances and I was able to cause an Out Of Battery condition at 1.35mm spacing. Had this been a live round it would have likely caused a rupture in the casing of the round which would possibly dislodge the Extractor, Extractor Latch and Extractor Spring.
