Michel Bras, l'un des plus grand cuisiniers français, a obtenu sa troisième étoile en 2000. C'est certainement à Laguiole que se fait la cuisine la plus novatrice, la plus radicale, mais aussi la plus reliée au terroir, l'Aubrac. Nous goûterons quatre assiettes, remontant le fil de la fabrication culinaire, pour arriver à la création.

La série L'invention de la cuisine dresse le portrait de six grands chefs, et s'interroge sur la façon dont on invente et réinvente la cuisine, en revisitant notre espace et notre temps, la France d'aujourd'hui.

Michel Bras is one of France's greatest cooks. He obtained his third star in 2000. Aubrac is certainly the place where France's most innovative, radicale and yet most regionally-based cuisine gets cooked up. We will taste four dishes to descirbe cinematographically what we feel, then work our way back through its culinary fabrication to the true subject of the series : creation.

This film is the introduction to a serie of portraits of six great chefs. Through them, we will investigate the ways that one invents and reinvents cuisine by revisting their space and time : France today
