This is an instrument I had dreamed about for some time and finally had the time to build. It is less than a week old, so it still needs lots of playing in. It is a wonderful instrument as I can play it with a dog and a cat on my lap while watching tv. (mind you this involves using a large reclining chair.)

The unwound strings are fluorocarbon and the Cedar top is carbon braced. Scale is 511mm. It is similar to a Portuguese guitar to hold, but it plays much like a classical guitar. A steel string version would work just as well.
The piece is called Peter's tune, named for my younger brother.
