So, sorry for being a bit late with the 1.3k sub special but I got sick and when English isn't your native language you can't form comprehensible sentences when you have almost 39 degrees Celsius of a fever. But I'm recovering already so yeah.
Now, I'll turn it around this time. Thank you so much for sticking with me guys, I love all of you. 1302 subscribers as of this writing is more than I could've hoped for when the channel began and seeing slowly but steadily more and more people joining my ship ( I once called my channel a musical journey and I quite like that analogy) makes me very happy. You guys rock - which is also one of the reasons I picked this arrange but more about that later.
Now, Tutti Sound and Neo. I won't fanboy, I promise. I'm sure y'all are sick and tired of me going on how great his arranges are and bla bla bla, so I'll spare ya.
This arrange is different than most of Tutti Sounds others, because it's not only gorgeous symphonics but also face-melting rock. Neo did pull a similar thing a while ago with Non Death Caliber (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9Jvc...) but Ancient Magic here is different from that one as well since it has no pounding electro in it.
This arrange right here kicks off with straight drums and fast riffs with a nice, haunting chorus in the background while a violin and an e-guitar play the iconic melody of The Grimoire of Alice rotational. It's especially noteworhty that the chorus is omnipresent. If you listen closely, it is always there. It isn't really dominant but it adds a giant amount of glory, elegance and epicness.
I for one really like this arrange. It has a fast tempo, it has the epic you'd expect from Tutti Sound, it has the badassery necessary for an extra boss theme and it's a very nicely balanced mix between rock and symphonics.
Oh, and the pic. Damn, Karlwolf really knows how to draw badass pics (even though Alice's left eye looks a bit... weird)
