Home made moped made with a Huffy Cranbrook Cruiser I got on clearance fron WalMart for $45 and an 80cc 2 stroke manual clutch single speed engine I got from e-bay for $107. After this video was made I attached front & rear lights which ran from the engine (A 6V #W dynamo/generator light set. I didn't use the generator, but instead attached to the white wire from the engine. When the engine was on so were the lights) I also fitted a digital speedometer. Best speed attained was 52kph (just over 30mph) and it would always manage 50kph (30mph) It did about 75 miles to the 1/2 gallon tank of gas, so about 150mpg. I put about 2500 trouble free km's on it then I sold it. Since then I have built dozens of them, which I sell on Craigslist after using them for a couple of weeks to make sure there are no bugs.
