Civic Players of Logansport perform this John Jakes' adaptation of Charles Dickens', "A Christmas Carol". Videotaped during a live performance, December 4th, 2011, at McHale Auditorium.
Charles Dickens (Greg Bell) continues to tell the tale of Ebeneezer Scrooge (Allen Sayger), this time speaking of the future. This scene takes place inside Old Joe's place, where things are bought and sold for a price. Old Joe, (played by Brenda Jo Reutebuch), is working away, keeping count of the stock when in walks 3 acquaintances with whom she's done business before - the Laundress (Madeleine Albright), the Undertaker's Man (Bryton Albright) and the Charwoman (Melodie Clements). These three have helped themselves to a few things from a recently deceased man, and are here to "do business".
The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come is played by Ralph Anderson, who also directed the play.
