A Memorial Service was held for Tammy Wynette at the Ryman Auditorium, on April 9, 1998, after the private funeral service and burial. The Memorial was a time for Tammy's music family to pay their tribute to this wonderful singer. This was the first song sung at the Memorial. The depth of the emotion expressed by J. D. Sumner & The Stamps is so very powerful. J. D. was a very sick man at the time and was aware that he would soon be having "Peace In The Valley". J. D. passed in November, 1998. Several other very special songs from the Memorial Service are posted.
