This is a video walkaround of a Kymco Agility 125 scooter, modified for bicycle motorpacing. The idea is to provide ideas for your motorpacing setup.
Kymco's are very reliable, relatively inexpensive and the 125 is an ideal displacement for motorpacing. Modifications include a Kreitler roller, redirected exhaust, custom rack with bottle holders, wheel holders, large extended mirrors, bicycle computer, SRM mount and Tachyon OPS HD video camera swivel mount. We've motorpaced several thousand miles with this setup and have found it to be nearly perfect for pacing.
If you're in the SF Bay Area and would like info. on where to go for these modifications, let me know. The welding shop I go to is located in Belmont, run by two brothers and they're terrific. Real masters, very cool guys and very reasonably priced.
