We started the day by visiting the Cologne Cathedral. It's a Roman Catholic Cathedral. Construction started in 1248 and has flying buttresses and pinnacles on the Medieval east end. The interior of the Medieval east end shows the extreme height. There is a "swallows nest" organ that was built into the gallery in 1998.

Our Rhine River Cruise down Germany's most famous river through Rhineland, a loosely defined region embracing the land on either side of the Rhine River, was very enjoyable.

We went on to see Heidelberg Germany which is in southwestern Germany. Heidelberg Castle is a beautiful red sandstone castle with the "Old Bridge" before it. The marketplace with the Town Hall is fun to walk around.

The music we used for this video is Ride of the Valkyies by Wagner.
