Danish Akhtar Saifi, a wrestler from Bihar, will play Hanuman in the TV show 'Siya Ke Ram'. It came as a big surprise to Danish (who was training under The Great Khali) when he was chosen by producer Nikhil Sinha for the role. He says, “It is Ramji and Hanumanji’s blessings that I got to play this character,” he says adding, “Khaliji was very happy when he heard I was selected. He even took a video of me. I used to train with him for six hours in the ring without food and water and it’s because of his training that I am here.” Danish takes around four hours to become Hanuman. But what’s most difficult, he says, is “when they put the dentures in my mouth to look like Hanuman.”
