3D Printing Systems:
Microphone engraver (based on the Egg Bot). I don't have much info about this one.
8x8x8 LED cube:
Maker Bot 3D printer, shown by the Freetronics crew, and then another Maker Bot printing a whistle:
OpenPCR project, demonstrated by Robert Shepherd and his friend. One of my favourites at the Fair:
PCB plotter. Not sure who these guys were. [UPDATE: They where the Squarebit crew, demonstrating their Zing plotter.] The plotting quality was not that great, although they used a conventional plotter and marker for the etch resist. Interesting concept though, and has some potential with some refinements.
Ultrasonic autonomous car. No details on this one. [UPDATE: It's an Android-powered telepresence robot, called Higgins. Thanks Calozor.
RepRap printing machine:
"Ruby" the Rubik's Cube solving robot:
