(ST. JOHN'S, NL), March 21, 2013 -- The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary
(RNC) General Investigation Unit is requesting the assistance of the general
public in identifying the person(s) responsible for an armed robbery at a
commercial business on Campbell Avenue in St. John's, NL.

On Friday, March 1, 2013, at approximately 6:00 pm, RNC officers from Patrol Services, K9, Forensic Identification Services and the Criminal Investigation Division responded to an armed robbery at Lawtons on Campbell Avenue. The male suspect entered the store and demanded narcotics before fleeing the scene on foot towards Lemarchant Road.

The male suspect is described as approximately 5'10" to 6'0" ft, with a pale complexion and strawberry blond hair. At the time of the incident the male is described as wearing dark clothing with a black hood up. The suspect had his face concealed with red sunglasses and a plaid scarf. The investigation into this armed robbery is continuing.
