Welcome back to Clevver Games everyone I'm Andrea Rene here with the latest news on the popular sandbox indie game, Minecraft. Swedish creator Markus 'Notch' Persson along with Mojang Studio announced they will be having the first annual MineCon in Las Vegas on November 18th and 19th at Mandalay Bay.
.
Originally just an idea back in May, Notch polled fans of the game and over 50,000 people cast their votes, and the results are in, yes MineCon is happening, albeit a week later than planned. The event will mark Minecraft's first full release. Notch told PC Gamer "I'm really looking forward to getting up on stage and pressing the button to upload the final build."
.
Specific details aren't know about the event quite yet but it looks like there could be a variety of contests including costumes and speed building. There may also be Q&A sessions and of course, parties! Early estimates put tickets around $90 per person just for the event, but I'll have a concrete number for you once the details are released.
.
Registration will launch next week on the Minecraft site and considering how crazy popular the game is, you better check keeping because I'm sure this event will sell out fast. What do you guys think? Are you a Minecraft lover? Think MineCon sounds like an awesome time? Let me know your thoughts in a comment below. I'll make sure to keep you updated right here on Clevver Games so be sure to subscribe to our channel. Thanks for watching, I'm Andrea Rene and I'll see you next time.
