Commissioner Herb Frady recently introduced a map he drew which would redraw Fayette County, Georgia's voting lines. The state's Reapportionment Office made one change to the map he initiated. The issue has sparked debate throughout the county and has revived the issue of moving to district voting. Currently the county has "at-large" voting which allows all citizens to vote for all five County Commissioners. Commissioner Peter Pfeifer outlined his objections at the Monday morning Special Called Meeting (8/20/07). Commissioner Eric Maxwell reacts.
