Aaron does an in-depth review of Verizon's Motorola DROID 4, the newest member of Verizon's DROID family. The Motorola DROID 4 is an evolutionary upgrade in the "original DROID" line and offers a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 4-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, 1,785 mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity, and Android 2.3 with Motorola's custom UI. It's available now for $199.99. Is it the best QWERTY 4G LTE phone out there? Part 1 of 2.

These are like $45 now on Ebay. Worth it, but the only thing I hate about it is the nonremovable battery. Droid 3 with removable battery is about $35. IMO the best phone/price right now 2014 August. Galaxies overpriced and they break easily. iPhones are limited by storage and capability, 3gs is as much as this thing on Ebay right now, for a shitty single core 600mhz cpu, vs 1.2ghz dual core in Droid. Best value right now.

Hi. I own two of these phones. I have the android 4.1.2 stock version on one of them and android 6.0 on the other. None of the phones will show me badge counts on the email app icon or the text message app icon. When I get a new email or text message, the number on either icon doesn't appear letting me know that I received an email or text message. Apparently, this all started when they upgraded their system to android 4 and up. Android 3.5 and 3.6 let you see the numbers on the icons. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks a bunch.
