If you're a soccer player or any other athlete that needs to use your glutes, hamstrings, back, anything that uses your posterior chain, one leg Romanian deadlifts are a great exercise for you. Now I'm going to grab a weight here, I'm going to hold it next to my body standing up nice and tall. I'm going to slightly bend my left knee; I'm going to move my right hip backwards at the same time. Moving my leg up, back nice and flat, keep it up near my legs, squeeze the glute and stand up. So I'm going to come over head up chest up, knees slightly bent, come over, squeeze the glute and stand up. Notice so everything stays flat. When you see me from the side everything stays flat as I go down and squeeze it on up. Again a great opportunity to get your hamstrings, glutes, and lower backs strong.
