Some tracks on the CD are from the 1956 Pete Rugolo scores.
The 2009 Freshmen are : Bob Ferreira, Vince Johnson, Brian Eichenberger and Curtis Calderon.
The 2009 trombonists are Scott Whitfield, Ira Nepus, Andy Martin, Dan Barrett and Rich Bullock, together with Llew Matthews (piano), Chuck Berghofer (bass) and Butch Miles (drums).
Freshmen founding member (and 1956 voice) Bob Flanigan makes a brief appearance at the end.
