BioenNW is a strategic initiative project lead by the European Bioenergy Research Institute (EBRI) at Aston University. Funded by the European Union INTERREG IVB programme, BioenNW brings together partners from academia, local authorities and businesses to jointly address Europe’s low carbon future and works in the UK, Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
The objective of BioenNW is to promote the adoption of local bioenergy, to stimulate the creation of new jobs, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and to protect energy security in North West Europe. This video introduces this bioenergy project and an innovative prototype bioenergy technology developed through BioenNW called the Pyrofab.
