In this sound design tutorial, New York-based producer and engineer, Evan Sutton a.k.a. Astrolith takes us through Native Instruments' powerful Kontakt sampler while offering some tips and techniques for transforming irregular audio samples into rich, harmonic, musical material. Expanding on Kontakt's vast and diverse library of samples, Even demonstrates how to morph a vocal sample by editing, slicing, time-stretching, pitch-shifting, and syncing the audio to recreate new ideas for a composition.
