Carl Halbirt, Archaeologist, talks about the unprecedented assemblage of 16th Century artifacts he unearthed beneath the St. Augustine Art Association. Spanish and Native American pottery along with burned building materials provide evidence of Sir Francis Drake's 1586 raid on St. Augustine, Florida. An exhibit of these items is on display above the excavation site at the St. Augustine Art Association, 22 Marine Street, St. Augustine, Florida. Learn more at www.staaa.org.
