Sweet Sour Spareribs

I show you how I make my sweet sour spareribs. I had an uncle that begged to take home the leftovers and asked me to always make this dish when I saw him :)

6 lbs. of country style ribs
Boil with cut up pieces of fresh ginger (for about 45 min or so).

Mix in bowl:
1-1/2 c. brown sugar
1-1/2 c. pineapple juice
3/4 c. cider vinegar
3/4 c. water
1-1/2 T. ground ginger
3 cloves of garlic or more
1-1/2 T. soy sauce
salt if you need it

When ribs are done boiling. Drain off water. Add mixture and cook on medium low for about an hour.
