Edited video of mine and Kevin’s epic ride down “Frontside” of Mt Lowe / Mt Wilson. We had 2 days of steady rain, the result was Hero Dirt! Conditions couldn’t be better, weather man forecasted more rain, that morning but he was wrong. Luckily his forecast kept a lot of the usual hikers off the trails. Of course the SCOA shuttle was booked solid so the ride up was pretty cramped. We had cloud coverage to keep us cool, the trails were like Velcro it was amazing. Kevin and I both rode our Intense Tracer T275c’s. My T275 has a Rockshox Pike 160 Fork and Rockshox Vivid Coil rear shock. Kevin's Tracer has Bos Deville 160 fork and Rock Shox Monarch rear shock. Trails ridden: Echo Mountain Chutes 0.9 mi, -17.5% Just the Steeps (Chutes) 0.3 mi, -29.6% Middle El Prieto DH Trail 1.6 mi, -8.4% Sam Merrill DH trail 2.4 mi, -9.3% Sunset (Tree to Sierra Saddle) 0.8 mi, -10% Sunset (Table to Final Switchback) 1.0 mi, -13.7% Single Track to Millard Camp 0.7 mi, -7.7%
