Well done Jennifer. I sure enjoyed watching this very much. My husband Ray was born and bred in Surgionsville, then moved to Chattanooga and eventually back to settle in Rogersville. I am Ozzie (Australian) and after Ray and I met, I lived in Rogersville for 3 years, and I worked there as a registered nurse. We are retired now and have moved back to Queensland as Ray likes the casual lifestyle and living in  close proximity to the ocean. If you want to, you can catch me on Facebook.

Rogersville is my heritage town. I love going there to do research. I have relatives living there, and relatives buried there. My dad told me when he was a boy his dad would get off tenant farming on Saturday at noon. His dad would walk many, many miles to sit in front of that courthouse and whittle and talk with the other old men while their kids threw rocks. He told me this story as I took him 'back home' for a visit shortly before he passed. I treasure that story, and love that courthouse.

I love Rogersville - it's where I grew up, and will always be my home. Thank you for the wonderful video, I've not been home in a while and it's good to be able to see pictures of it even if I can't be there myself.
