The Tutor/Mentor Connection (T/MC) seeks to help volunteer-based tutor/mentor programs grow in all high poverty parts of the Chicago region. It's strategy depends on the actions many people take, over many years. The OHATS (Organizational History and Tracking System) is a way for individuals to document and describe actions they take to build an information library, increase public use and understanding of the information, and draw volunteers and donors directly to the different tutoring and/or mentoring programs in the Chicago region. This video is a new tool used by Dan Bassill and the T/MC to share this information. It's rough and can be improved upon by volunteers and professionals who share our vision and want to help implement this strategy. This video was created in 2011 when Cabrini Connections and Tutor/Mentor Connection (T/MC) were part of one organization. While they now are separated into two organizations, the ideas in the video are still relevant. The T/MC is now operating under the umbrella of Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC.
