I wouldn't do this for anyone, she is my AUNT. The hole was already there, it had started to open up on it's own. I was not going to lance it because I am not a medical professional and I have been encouraging her to go back to the doctor and she would not. They had removed it once before, sac and all, and it came back. I had disinfected it before we started. I don't have on gloves because I'm not afraid of "toe jam" haha gross. It didn't touch my skin and I disinfected my hands after to make sure there were no germs on me. Do you wear gloves when you pop a zit? No you don't thank you very much. I washed her hair again when we were finished and I threw out the towel so there was no chance of cross contamination. Don't worry people, it's ok.

This cyst had been growing for 10 years. It finally had a small place where it had opened on its own and formed a scab. After washing her hair, my aunt asked me to look at it. She said some stuff had come out the day before and wanted me to try and pop it! It took a while and I did drain the entire thing!

She did go back to the doctor after I insisted and had the sac removed :) She is much happier now with that big bump gone :)
