Vibrations Stop-Motion / Director's Cut (Animating 10,000+ Hex Nuts!)

10-15,000 hex nuts, animated in one contiguous shot.

No computer generated graphics in the final shot, only frame by frame stop-motion (projection was used as reference guide)...we pushed these hex nuts around for 2 weeks, 12hrs a day. Hard, tedious work, but with fun results!

The animation is a followup to a viral campaign I directed in 2011...but unfortunately it was never released. I'm sharing it for my portfolio a couple years later, as my original "director's cut" :)
