Mal Sondock started his radio career in the USA. He came with the army to Germany and got stranded there. He played together with Kirk Douglas in a movie called "Town Without Pity" and later he also sag some songs. Mal became a famous radio DJ here in Germany, not just because of his special accent and his great voice. He`s familiar with many celebrities and nowadays working in Cologne as a producer of CDs and DVDs for special occasions. His radio shows from the seventies and eighties had been very popular here. I met him in Cologne for a two-part-interview which is available as an audio podcast ("NormCast", episodes No.89 and 90) and again in Bielefeld, where this little film was shot. The video also contains audio-snippets from that podcast-interview.
