Watch an excerpt of David Bowie's new single, Where Are We Now? his first release in a decade.

The veteran music star broke years of silence and speculation to release the single and announce the album via the internet.

Bowie, who shot to fame in the late 60s with Space Oddity, has released the recording Where Are We Now? on iTunes in 119 countries, costing £0.99

A follow-up album called The Next Day is set to be released by the glam-rock singer in March and can be preordered for £10.99.
