Even though she’s a Young Entrepreneur, Ashia Anderson already has a wealth of experience in business and life. The latter was not necessarily her choice, however having seen the struggles of her mother through illness, this young woman rather than be a victim to life used these experiences to build a business and to thrive.
Realising the need for help, Ashia’s business journey started at just age 15, helping others whom had suffered a similar plight to her own: struggling to be recognised for work and opportunities fairly, and even at one stage being homeless. Today at the age of 27, Ashia runs three businesses including her recently established I-Empower community, and has recently been crowned Miss West Midlands Curve 2016 making her a finalist for Miss British Beauty Curves 2016 to be held in July 2016.
She joined us at the Financial Style, in the New Style Radio studios to explain the Beauty of Entrepreneurship, and how she is personally ensuring that she ‘Empowers’ those around her, of all ages and backgrounds.
