This song and video reflect on a moment that a large corporate entity with all the money, all the influence and all the power tried to force itself upon a rural community made up of regular ordinary people. This community has "crossed the aisle" to join with friends and neighbors in a struggle with very daunting odds against them in the hopes that in some corners of America the interests of the local people still counts. Far from being solely an environmental issue, this struggle has brought to light problems with public safety regulations and enforcement, accountability of private corporate interests as well as public officials, the impact on property values, the corruption of regulatory precesses, the misuse of antiquated policies like "eminent domain" for private companies and on and on...Thanks to all who have contributed in any way to our struggle.
