The Math Garden at Mt. View Elementary in Antioch, TN was created by Numeracy Coach Teresa Dillehay to help children learn math in a fun and creative way! From geometric flower beds to a Weather Station to strategically placed colorful flowers, this garden is the ultimate hands-on learning experience for any child that learns best through visual techniques and an outdoor setting.

Sponsors that have helped support this innovative idea are Hands On Nashville (labor), Homestyle Bakery, Home Depot, Target, and Starbucks. Mt. View sincerely appreciates their support and any additional sponsorships that you would like to provide in order to keep childrens' education growing!

If you or anyone you know would like to support this program through gardening donations (flowers, mulch, gardening tools) or labor assistance (spreading mulch, maintaining the garden, planting), please contact Mt. View Elementary at 615-641-9393.
