Don Bevel, son of the prominent Civil Rights Activist and writer James Bevel, took me by the hand to the office of Rev. Dr. F.D. Reese, who is an historic figure of modern history. He marched side by side next to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in Selma in 1965. I had the priviledge and honor of meeting this man, meeting his wisdom, and being able to shake his hands...the same hands that through all the years of struggle have built the moral and human foundations for the African-American to become First Class Citizens.....It was a marvelous and unforgettable experience in my short life.....he said: stand!!!!!,.....move!!!!! never, never give up,...no matter how hard and dark it may be........and if you ran out of your last bullet then,......even then.... STAND UP!!!!!!!! Frank Diaz
