This time-lapse video shows crews working to replace the section of State Route 99 that crosses above Broad Street in Seattle. The video spans a 48-hour period in which crews demolished the old roadway and added fill material to the now-closed section of Broad Street to bring it level with the rest of the highway. This work, which will continue until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, is part of the Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Program.
