The latest installment of The Chocolate Tourist takes place in Alexandria, Virginia at George Washington's farm, Mount Vernon. Overlooking the beautiful grounds and Potomac River, Mount Vernon's chocolate making tent draws hundreds of visitors at Christmastime.

Historical reenactors guide us through the handmade chocolate process, but a trip to Mount Vernon will also acquaint you with Aladdin - the Christmas camel - as well as the sheep, pigs, cows, geese, and the White House Thanksgiving turkey which all take up residence there this time of year.

More episodes of The Chocolate Tourist will be arriving later in 2012... until then, have a wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year!
