A Note about the filming of this Video...

"Turned Tables" was filmed in one day over the course of about 4 hours at a little park just off the 134 Freeway in Burbank, CA. The video stars our friends Isabella Bonaduce (daughter of Danny & Gretchen Bonaduce) and Blues Williams. The concept of the video took a couple of weeks to think up...basically it was all about how to cut together a cohesive little narrative that went along with the tune without it coming off as to confusing, but still a little bit of a fever dream.
The turntable we used in the video was powered by an Alien Bees portable power pack. Should's album "Like A Fire Without Sound" is not available on vinyl so Sherry Lee had to design and print up the prop album cover we used in the video. It's basically an exact replica of the CD blown up to album cover size. The photos are promo pictures of the band as well as the inside images that appear on the CD. The record on the turntable is actually the soundtrack from "Flashdance" with a Words-On-Music sticker that we made placed over the record label.
Editing took a couple of days as we shot it in order of how it would be cut together. Sherry color corrected the video to be roughly the same color palate of the CD cover. Pretty basic, but pretty effective.

The budget for the video was somewhere around $50. That covered the art supplies needed to render the album cover. Everything else is owned by us, so...

This video was filmed on the Panasonic HVX-200a P2 Camcorder w/ SG Blade 35mm Lens Adapter (w/ Canon Lenses). No lights were used (just the Sun and a reflector on a few shots). The video was edited in Avid Media Composer.
