Steve Vitoff and a friend perform the 1860 Abraham Lincoln campaign song. Borrowing the catchy melody of the widely sung "Rosin the Bow," "Lincoln and Liberty" was written and performed by the now-under-recognized Hutchinson Family of NH, a well-known and precedent-shattering traveling musical troupe of the mid-19 c. who used their musical abilities to advocate for the emancipation of slaves, women's rights and temperance. Some say this song helped Lincoln win in 1860!
