Black carbon, composed of tiny particles of soot, is produced whenever organic substances like fossil fuels, firewood or coal is incompletely burned. These particles are polluting the air and causing serious health and environmental concerns for people around the world.

The Changing Planet video series explores the impact that climate change is having on our planet, and is provided by the National Science Foundation (http://science360.gov/series/Changing...) & NBC Learn (http://www.nbclearn.com/changingplanet)
