The colorful pastel, fiber, and painted canvases of Southern Oregon artist Susan Eileen Burnes appeared in a solo exhibition at the Skyline Plaza Gallery during the month of September 2012. The gallery is a private exhibition space at the Rogue Valley Manor in Medford, Oregon.

The program at the Skyline Plaza Gallery has been developed over the last eight years by Art and Culture Coordinator Bruce Allen and Art Historian Dick Warren; its purpose is to support artists of Southern Oregon while also providing an educational opportunity for the residents of the nationally acclaimed Continuing Care Retirement Community which is affiliated with Pacific Retirement Services Inc.

The artist gave a talk about her abstract artworks to an audience of 75 Rogue Valley Manor residents on September 5, parts of which are included in this video.

"My intent is for these pieces to be both elegant and bold. I am inspired by the rhythms and patterns of the natural environment of Southern Oregon," said Susan Eileen Burnes.

The art of Susan Eileen Burnes can be viewed at the Red Line Gallery, a private exhibition space, in Rogue River, Oregon, upon request.
