This exciting session will take you into the Diplomatic Reception Rooms at the U.S. Department of State -- 42 very special rooms that are used each day by the President, Vice President, and Secretary of State to conduct American diplomacy at the highest levels. In these rooms, peace treaties are negotiated, multi-national summits occur, State Luncheons are held, and history literally happens every day.

Presented by:
Marcee Craighill, Curator, Diplomatic Reception Rooms, U.S. Department of State

Susan Holly, Senior Historian, Office of the Historian, U.S. Department of State

Original Airdate: February 12, 2014
