how to change the battery.
you need:
small flat heads
super glue
new battery or a fully charged battery so you can recharge the old one.

It's the berry glitch, read about it (if you still care). It can be fixed with a patch if you have access to 2 gbas or gamecube and have pokemon firered/leafgreen/emerald/colosseum
The game saves your data on flash memory. The battery is just used to keep the in-game clock running.
Cr2025 or Cr2016 are both compatible they both work fine. But I prefer soldering the battery back on the game then using electrical tape or glue. It's not really that hard to solder the back. I have done it on all my old pokemon games myself and everyone of them was a success

no it won't i have just replaced mine and i have my old save file And you can grow berries again and also the clock works again.

Thank you so much for this ^_^ I've had ruby for a long time and had the berry glitch for ages and couldn't figure out how to fix it but with the help of this video i can now grow berries again and the clock is moving again thanks so much ^_^
hey according to the sticker on your game, it is a fake copy. the real copies don't have the age rating on it and have a CE certificate on it.
if i change the battery will my save file restart?
