This video is showing Debian GNU/Linux booting on a Sega Dreamcast. The Dreamcast has not been modified in any way. I found out the other day that I could do this and it turned out to be a nice afternoon project.

Unfortunately, I don't have the Dreamcast keyboard, so I can't actually do anything with this. With a keyboard, though, this could work like any regular computer running Debian. Programs could be installed from the internet (this Dreamcast has a 56K dial-up modem, with the possibility of upgrading to a 100M LAN adapter), and I've read stories of the successful installation of an X server and a full blown desktop environment.
