Miles Pomper, Senior Research Associate, Monterey Institute of International Studies, James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, speaks on the second panel, "Horizontal and Vertical Security Challenges" at the B'nai B'rith and Potomac Institute forum on Middle East Security and the Changing Trans-Atlantic Partnership.

Hosted on June 28, 2012, at the National Press Club in DC, the program focused on the unfolding security challenges in the Middle East, including the Arab Spring uncertainties, the civil war in Syria, and Iran's nuclear ambition, require reconsideration from the trans-Atlantic strategic partnership. These and other related issue in the region were discussed by a panel of experts, both academics and former government officials.
