One of the leading intellectuals of our time speaks out about world developments and what the world could look like after the end of the U.S. Empire - a world with regions and civilizations seeking equity. He points to a serious future conflict - between the world Hindu and Muslim communities and he argues for a totally new and truly representative United Nations to provide global governance and conflict mitigation. The interview takes its point of departure in Galtung's book "The True Worlds" from 1980 and states his vision and hopes at the age of 77 and after 50 years as peace researcher, mediator and educator. Johan Galtung is interviewed by Jan Oberg of TFF, The Transnational Foundation for Peace and Future Research. This educational video is published by TFF Video Channel in 2008.
